An Sn600 'Gloverish' 0-4-0T

I am using a combination of S scale 1/64 (3/16th to the foot) and 9mm N gauge track
to represent 600mm (23-5/8") gauge industrial tramways

The picture of unidentified small critter on page 108 in the Glover book is the inspiration for this project.

Loco Body were scratchbuilt using brass sheet, boiler were solid brass for weight and stack, domes etc were made as brass turnings on my lathe. Smoke box detail were styrene with NBW details.
Cylinders and steam chest were made up of styrene.
The original Bachmann wheels were filled in with putty to represent solid wheels.
The only thing left from the Bachmann 'Docksider' were the frame, wheels and gears.

The new motor is mounted upright thru 1:14 'Tenshodo SPUD' worm and gear set to a lay shaft and the original Bachmann worm and gears. It will crawl along but the top speed is way too low.

The tipper wagons were made from ROCO HOe frames with scratchbuilt skips.

All the pics were taken outdoor on Kodak ASA 200 print film
in a Nikon F301 with macro lenses at F22 for 1 second.
